I’m going to a blogger get together (Yay for The Blathering!!!) in a few days, so I thought I’d hop on the vlog bandwagon so people can meet me in advance. I had to do it kind of quickly, but I hope you enjoy! And if you want to do it too, the words and questions are below.
(Also, when I’m talking about the Sonic drink size I would say Route 44 like ROOT 44, so I sometimes change on the way I say route.)
(If you are looking at this through a feed reader, the video might look just like a tiny picture. Click on it and it’ll bring you to the post where you can watch…until I can figure out how to make it work right out of the reader anyway.)
Say the following words:
Aunt, Route, Wash, Oil, Theater, Iron, Salmon, Caramel, Fire, Water, Sure, Data, Ruin, Crayon, Toilet, New Orleans, Pecan, Both, Again, Probably, Spitting image, Alabama, Lawyer, Coupon, Mayonnaise, Syrup, Pajamas, Caught
And answer these questions:
What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
What is the bug that when you touch it, it curls into a ball?
What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
What do you call gym shoes?
What do you say to address a group of people?
What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?
What do you call your grandparents?
What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?
What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
What is the thing you use to change the TV channel?
Saying those words out loud made me realize I can have a pretty thick country accent sometimes. As for the question about the the bug (question #2) it’s totally called a rolly poley (however it’s spelled).
Yeah, sometimes the southern comes out. And Taylor reminded me that you WRAP a house. I probably actually wouldn’t call it papering or TPing.
#2 is also called a doodle bug!
How could I forget doodle bug?!
