Working Out

I had a snazzy title but have forgotten it since my drive home from the gym.  This is the “I think I might throw up” edition.

Starting to work out again is the “big announcement” I mentioned last week.  I’ve never really been a consistent exerciser, but I do enjoy it overall.  I really like going to group fitness classes, because it means someone else decides what we are going to do for the day and pushes me to keep going.  I’m in week 3, and today was workout #6.  It was a cycling class, and besides my butt hurting, and barely being able to pedal 100 on a resistance of 12, when I got done with the class I felt super hot and queasy.  On a good note though, the instructor said I did a good job standing and pedaling for one minute (before my legs were too shaky to continue.) We did almost 15 miles.

I am going to try to update you weekly about the working out status, because I think it’ll help keep me honest.  The boyfriend and I are going to attempt to do 4 workouts a week.  Monday is cycling class, Tuesday I’ll do my own thing, Wednesday is kickboxing and after that cycling (I don’t know if I’ll be up for that one right after kickboxing) and Thursday is circuit.

Anyway, I’ll keep you posted on my progress!
